Sky Q main box won’t connect to internet

My sky mini box is connected to the internet but not my main sky Q box??

 I've tried resetting the router & sky q box several times but it can't connect. Both mini boxes are connecting fine and all on demand services are available through them, just not on the main box

Hi @HB13 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?

You need to hold down the button on the router until it starts flashing.

Yes I've done that (several times!) 

I don't understand how the mini boxes are working but not the main one?

Is it possible to use an ethernet cable to connect the main to the router.

Did you go to reset on the right and reconnected?

Don't have a cable & yes have done the reset
