Sky Q main box says hard drive won't work despite restoring to factory settings

Sky Q main box started glitching, stopping and starting, not pausing or rewinding or downloading.  Our 2 mini boxes are not showing any TV now only access to Netflix.  I've had everything off a hundred times, done a full factory reset using 001 and then re-pairing remote.  Wi-fi is good, phones etc working fine.  Main Sky Q box will now show only live TV without pause or rewind and Mini boxes nothing!  Help!!  Have literally followed evry avenue of rest and not working?!

You'll need to call Sky to replace the box.  (The hard drive has failed- which provides the functionality that is not working...)

 

Remember to remove your viewing card when you swap.

It's clearly knackered. Hard drives don't last forever.

Roughly speaking a factory reset has about the same effect on a physically failing hard drive as a comprehensive valet does on a flat tyre....
