Sky Q main box has hard drive fault ,Sky mini box has no satellite message.

Sky Q box won't allow access to the hard drive , can not record , pause or rewind live programmes. The Sky mini box is showing the issue of no satellite signal which is strange as it doesn't have a satellite input and the main box has 40 satellite signal and can be watched. I'm stumped , tried resetting both and have even left them unplugged for over 30 mins... any ideas ??

The main Q box caches channels to the hard drive before sending to the mini...

If the hard disk is kaput then the main box will need replacing.

Thanks for the info. I am going to try to wipe the hard drive as per instructions on Sky but have also ordered a new Sky Q main box just in case.
