Sky Q keeps dropping my BT network and looks for the same Sky network

For several months now we are getting intermittant Sky Q saying that we are not connected to a network.  When this message occurs it points me to the reseting option, (I am on a BT broadband network), where I have noticed that it is looking for the same SKY broadband network each time.  I go through the reset, selecting my network, and duly connect back up, until it happens again.  My network consists of a BT Hub 3 and 2 extenders around the house.  The signal is solid, I have never had a BT dropout.

I have contacted CS but they simply could not grasp the problem and explain to me why Sky Q is looking for this Sky Network network everytime and how do I stop it. All they said was do the reset!

Any ideas?

It's not looking for a sky broadband network, that ID is the internal Q mesh (which it should not be treating as a ln internet connection but it sometimes shows up)

Thanks for the quick reply.  I take that to mean that it is the connection between the miniQ and the main Q box?

If it should not be looking at this connection as an Internet connection do you know how I can stop it?  New main box?

Have you done a full network reset and re-attached it to the BT wifi? I would do this with the minis turned off (at the wall) to begin with.

Thanks for that.  I have reset the router a couple of times in the past but not with the mini turned off.  I will have a go tomorrow and let you know.
