Sky Q keeps changing from Ethernet to Wifi

So, recently my Sky Q 2TB box keeps dropping my wired connection and switching to my wifi network, the issue is my wifi is poor, which is why most of my house is wired.

I have turned the wifi off on the box in the engineers menu, but it still keeps reverting to wifi. I go back into the engineers menu and it is still turned off!!!

Suurely the boxes should be designed to go to wired as default, like any other device with a LAN port? These are stupid. From what I have read this is a common issue. It is now worse, it doesn't stay on my stable wired connection now for more than 30 seconds. It is getting a joke now and I am running out of ideas other than doing a factory reset, which I don't want to do for obvious reasons.

Why is this able to happen, surely my setting choice should override any other?
