Sky Q is not letting me record channel I should be able to

Hi, I hope someone can help. I used to have a full Sky package until it was reduced a few years ago to the basic programmes pack.  If I search a particular programme and press record, it comes up with text saying I need to upgrade my package in order to record that particular channel, or if I go on the Recording Schedule and press More Episodes,  press record it says the same thing - it's ITV or Channels 4 or 5! I know which channels I have on my package as they're all on my Favourites list so its not like I am try to record a channel I am not subscribing to. I have reset things so many times and have even been sent a replacement, but, as of today, it's still saying the same thing! Any ideas anyone?

Is this definitely record rather than download.

 

 

Both Channel 4 & C5 are a little bit odd that they allow you to watch in HD but can only download inSD without the HD add on.

 

Can you try  changing your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)
