Sky Q how can I find programmes in the planner
Back in the old days of sky plus you could search for a program and either download it or pre record it when it's on later in the week and you get a choice of times and channels. Is there anywhere I can do this on Sky Q or search remotely. I don't always want downloads, live recordings are sometimes better

Yes there's a search (voice search finds some things scheduled for live broadcast) or use the magnifying glass button.

Re: Sky Q how can I find programmes in the planner
Thank you but you haven't understood my question. I can find on demand programmes using voice and search but how do I find when they are showing on Tuesday at 9pm on channel 4 and 10pm on ch4+1 and Wednesday on 4/7. Thats what I want to know. That's what sky + used to be able to do. You can see when the programme is live.
Thank you anyway but suspect the answer is you can't do this on Sky Q

You use the epg (electronic programme guide). Rather than trying to explain it, see the below link. The engineer should have shown you this when the Sky Q was installed.

hii @paulbirks
After using the Search (voice or Manual), if an episode is due in the next week there should be an option titled 'On This Week' but it may not be on the first screen returned from the Seach
Please see these snaps from my Search for Murdoch Mysteries

I did understand the question but the results are perhaps presented in an unexpected way.
