Sky Q freezing daily since bt changed broadband to EE
BT upgraded my broadband and gave me new EE router. Straight away the sky box would freeze and nothing would work until unplugged to reset the system.
various calls and EE engineers and sky engineers visits.
This was an absolute nightmare and wished I had not agreed to having the new router.
The sky engineer said I needed the cable between sky box and router as this was the most stable connection, which is what I had.
somewhere on a forum I read to disconnect it and go WiFi. I did this and had to reset the sky box to accept wifi as the connection and then reset all my mini boxes.
That was about five weeks ago and no issues since so seems the new router was disconnecting my sky q box. How can no one on the telephone or the engineers be aware of this..........
