. Sky Q drops the WiFi connection a lot of times.
My sky q box loses its connection regularly. It's not a WiFi problem as all other devices we have work when this happens. It's really frustrating as we are struggling to watch tv

Hi @kristof1978 WiFi issues are notoriously difficult to resolve. Have you considered power line adapters to bypass the WiFi and get a solid signal to the router. I would power reboot everything, including the broadband router (it doesn't matter if other devices work).

We have power lines in the house. It happens to our sky q box upstairs so I think it's got to be a sky box problem?

@kristof1978 If Sky is not your broadband provider then any mini boxes you have(im assumming this is what you are talking about) wont connect to your router by wifi they need to be connected to your main box by wifi by using the WPS button on the boxes
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

Sky is our broadband provider. Our main box in the living room and mini box both keep getting disconnected. All other devices remain connected to internet so I can't see it being an internet fault?

@kristof1978 ahh right so the white Sky max router is completely different to the older back router.
I'd sugest rebooting your router then on your main box do a network reset.
When you do this treat the router as a third party router and search for it by the ssid and connect to it with the wifi password on the router.
With the mini boxes these need to be connected to the main box by way of the WPS buttons to join the mesh system that the main box emits.
The old black router had software that allowed them to become part of the mesh system the main Q box emits but the new white router do not do this so need to be treated as you would with a third party router
