Sky q not recording from the home page

MySky q box is not recording from the home page, the program is available to download but when trying it comes back failed, this started to happen yesterday, all other recordings are fine. 
turned to box off but still the same thing the internet is working all ok

My Sky Q box won't download 'available now' content. The download fails with a 'no broadnband' message?

I can set a recording with channel guide and via Sky Go too.

I can also watch Netflix etc. so Broadband is working.

I have tried to download programmes from my Skype q box and they keep coming up with download failed

I've moved your post into a thread discussing this. Some are having similar issues on Sky+. The common denominator is TalkTalk broadband.

Hi I can confirm I have just changed the DNS settings to 1.0.0.1 on my SkyQ box and it is now starting to download programs again.

Yes my provider is talktalk looks like a few customers with them are having the same issues

Sky Q will not download programs

My Sky Q box has suddenly stopped downloading programs or movies. I have tried off and on, rebooting router. I have tried updating the software but this download fails too. Streaming via the box is fine so no issue with internet connection. Any ideas?
