Sky Q deleted recordings……folder is empty, where have the deleted recordings gone?

I could not find a recorded programme that I was watching yesterday. . In case it had been deleted in error, I checked The deleted recording folder but it is empty.....where have my deleted recordings gone?

I'm sure it's to do with disk space but what exactly happens when disk space is filling up?

Hi @Greencourgette 

If the Q box hard drive approaches capacity it's housekeeping will delete content to make space.   The Deleted section will be the first to go.

Would it wipe all of the deleted recordings?

If the Deleted section is now empty,    then yes @Greencourgette
