Sky Q default pin number and reset not workin

I have a New contract with a SKY Q box .After having my HD plus box for nearly 16 years .I wish I'd kept it !!

Anyway I hsve just tried to watch an itv Ridley episode and it asked for my pin ,I was informedvthat this will be the last four numbers of my viewing card.

Clearly this is not the case As there was not handbook withe q box ,I followed the tv onscreen info to log into my account and I did this .and chose the last four numbers of my viewing card.

Came and inputted the same number and it has locked me out for 10 minutes.

Back to my account and I'm now locked out of that. Im not too pleased .I've logged a complaint  ut I'm not holding my breath for a timely reply

Unless it has been changed by you,   the Sky Q PIN number is normally the last four digits of your Original Sky viewing card.

Unless the Q box was not new . My order was 1gb but a2gb was installed, lucky me ! Certainly the pin was the same as my card . I ve just gone on line and my account was up and available I changed it to the last card digits and it works fine . So ot definitely was a different pin to my card as delivered .All OK now
