Sky Q boxes not ‘talking to each other

I have a sky Q box and two mini boxes. If I pause a programme (on say ITV X) and I try to resume it in a different room/ mini box, it does not know where I was up to.

Are you exiting the app before moving to the other room?  (And then launching the app)

 

I doubt ITV's app has dynamic pause and resume for running apps.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

The Q boxes aren't responsible for this.  The app stores its "place" in its own internet service so another device can pick it up. Suspect closing the app as above, or backing out of the show to the main menu as a minimum is needed to get it to do that.
