Sky Q box wont work, light stays red

Following a power cut I cannot get Sky working, the internet is fine so that's not the issue, the blue sky logo glows but the red light won't turn green. The remote works, I've tried turning off for a few minutes but it still won't work. Vent is clean, can't get talking to Sky as usual. I'm starting to think when the power went it kept coming and going for half an hour before I unplugged the TV system so did the constant turning on and off somehow damage the main box? My broadband is also Sky but that works fine. I've tried holding the red button as I power up the box but no luck. Been 3 days now of using apps on my smart TV but enough is enough! Any ideas?

Hi @Jules909

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.
