Sky Q box switching off every night at around 3am

I've had my Sky Q box for about 18 months now and every night it switches off at around 3am.  Most nights this does not matter and I go to bed but other nights I am in the middle of watching a programme and this is so annoying.  When you try to switch it back on it tells you to check your router and other things.  Nothing wrong with the router.  Just that it happens nightly and I'd like to know why.  Thank you.

You probably have Eco Mode switched on, the box will go into a special low power mode from 2:45-5:45am to save power. 

If you are often watching TV at that time you might be better switching to Active Mode instead so the box still goes into standby when not in use, but will not go into the low power mode overnight. Remember to change this setting on the main box and any mini boxes too.

Thank you so much for this reply.  This has been so frustrating.  I have changed the setting on my 2 boxes just now and will see how it goes and post back if it has worked.  Thank you.

Thank you @xenon81  - Your answer has sorted us.  The first night the box did not switch off.  The subsequent nights it has switched off but we are able to switch it right back on.  Wonderful as this was so stressful by being switched off in the middle of watching a programme.  Thanks again.
