Sky Q box showing no signal or connection
My Sky Q box is showing no satellite signal or network connection. I have tried the cables at the back of my box, tv and router on several occasions and all are fine. I have rebooted on several occasions and still nothing. It feels like it could be an issue with the box rather than something external? Can anyone help?

If that doesn’t help you may have to contact Sky to arrange an engineer to check your dish alignment.

Thanks Daniel, but I have already gone through that list of possibilities and have eliminated, where possible, all external possibilities. It seems strange that at exactly the same time as it showed no satellite signal it also showed no network signal even though my internet is working fine?

Hi @Fred+2
Have you tried a Network Reset on your Q box?
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

I got new sky q box but I try all setup options..but I think my rooter have problem as well .

I can't get past the blue sky to access any reset settings. Help... what the hell do I do next! Step by step in plain English please.

That ended that convo, I have the same intermittent problem with the screen message
"No signal. Check the external input or select another input usingthe INPUT button."
Not sure how you can go to settings when there is apparently no signal at all?
Just sitting watching a program and off it goes, you then wave a stick at it in the hope the picture might return.

A further point of interest, I checked the multi room box, and Sky was fine there, so it looks like the fault is with the Sky Q box.
