Sky Q box on standby

Every day for the past week and a half I have had to switch off unplug my sky Q box to get it to turn on, as when I use remote it won't turn on and stays on red. I pay good money for this service and pay extra for TNT Sports for MotoGP, yet last weekend they Sky Q box did not record this as it keeps going off.

Hi, you would need to contact Sky Q technical services to get a replacement Q box. All Q equipment belongs to Sky so there would be no charge for a replacement Q box

@MarkBurnett You could try resetting the settings in the Q boxes hidden menu.
To enter the hidden menu press the home button and scroll down to settings but do not select settings.
With settings highlighted press 0 0 1 then select
Only Carry out the first Reset being Reset Settings as the others will wipe all recordings.
After the reset you will have to re-pair your remote assuming you are using a bluetooth remote by pressing 1 and 3 together on the remote
