Sky Q box not finding my BT wifi

My Sky Q box seems to have 'lost' my BT broadband.

when I try to reset WiFi, the SkyQ box tries to find SKY35D88 but I don't have Sky broadband.  
anyone any idea how to get the box to 'find' my BT broadband?

all other gizmos in the house are working on BT broadband

Is this a main Q box or a mini box?

 

The SKY35D88 you can see is being generated by the main Sky Q box on the 5ghz band, it is what mini boxes connect to. The main Q box is the only box that connects to your BT Broadband hub and only on the 2.4ghz band.

 

In most cases, a power reset of the hub and Q box (power off for 5 minutes at the mains), cures many ills.

As you can see from my post I have the same issue with my box , ok restart the router and box but that's not the answer to the problem what if you are recording a program but need the Wi-Fi to work for another program it's not acceptable for the amount of money we pay

On you main box. Go to setting click on network connection then press reset  it should then take you to menu showing the WiFi hubs it can find. Choose your  hub from the list and will ask you for  that hubs  password which is shown on the little pull out tab on the underneath of hub, if you have the latest bt hub, Then after a couple minutes your box should then connect to your WiFi

Thanks for the reply but of course I have been through those steps at least twice a week, my point is I shouldn't have to do this is there a problem with the box and BT/EE routers
