Sky Q box not connecting to the internet

My Sky Q box is not connecting to the internet. It's connected to the router but not connecting to the internet. My phone, laptop, iPad, home security cameras and Google Home are all connected to the internet fine, just not the Sky Q box.

I've done a power-down reboot but no change.

Hi @Songmanbob 

Try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

I'm currently having the same problem. Unable to connect to internet and it is preventing my mini boxes from connecting also.

I'm having the same problem.  Initially after reseting i get a connection to both the router and the internet but after a few seconds the internet drops off.  I've tried this with a wired connection and through wifi and get the same problem.  Looking through the discussion forums, people were reporting very similar sounding issues in January and in March both of which were resolved by Sky, but I don't see any details on what they did.
