Sky Q box making a loud whirring noise and getting louder

Sky Q box is making a loud whirring noise and getting louder. I have tried switching it off but when switched back on it is still noisy.

@andycangler 

If by performing a power cycle which is basically turning the power off to the Sky Q box for 3 minutes hasn't fixed the loud noise, most likely the box needs to be replaced.
