Sky Q box loosing internet connection when watching YouTube App!

Hi! 
We have BT modem connected directly via Ethernet cable to our SKY Q box and have had very few problems with connection issues until I started watching YouTube via the app regularly through the SKY Q box. Now the internet is regularly unavailable for a few moments but it takes ages for the connection to be re-established, sometimes I have to unplug the box from the power and restart it. The signal strength is great with BT and it's cheaper than SKY, each time this happens I've tested the speed and it's fantastic. It almost seems we're being punished for not having SKYs internet. Can't find anything to help me anywhere else

Is wifi disabled on the Q box?

I've looked through all the setting - there's no option to 'turn off' WiFi, it's directly plugged into the modem via an Ethernet cable.

It's in the installer menu

hover over "settings" and hit 001 Select

Ok I see 2.4 GHZ wireless & 5 GHz Wireless both are on
