Sky Q box loosing Internet connection daily
I have recently switched my broadband from sky to EE. The price was just going to high and EE gave me extra bonuses on my phone contracts. After the switch, I connected my sky Q box to the new router and it was perfect and easy. It lasted a couple of days then the sky Q box stopped connecting to the router. I can reset and start again, but the very next day its lost connection again. Non of my other devices in my home have connection issues, just the sky Q box. I would prefer to hardwire the router to the sky q box, but due to the layout of my home this is not a possibility. Now my suspicious mind is telling me that sky purposely make it disconnect because of switching away from sky broadband, or that they have made the connection to other routers that are not sky unstable. But thats just my suspicious mind lol Does this mean I need a replacement sky Q box? Does anyone know of any hacks or settings to change to stabilise my WiFi connection? Thanks in advance
