Sky Q box freezes on exiting BBC Iplayer

You just have to keep backing up until you asked to exit iPlayer and then just hope it works. Not really a soloution but until its accepted as a bug by Sky or BBC then o one will work on it, Personally i'd be happy forthere to b an option to disable "play from start" on all channels

Not only that Sky Q freezes on exit (pressing back button several times etc or otherwise) it does not go to start of the programme on starting the d..n BNC iplayer.

And yes, I hate that instant going into replay from the beginning mode by pressing the ok button.

Same problem here. I used to think it was because I didn't exit using the iPlayer prompted "Do you want to exit" popup. Now it freezes Sky even when I exit iPlayer 'properly'. Also I can initiate iPlayer by pressing down arrow or backup (and definitely not the central selection button) when I'm on the program details popup. I'm sure there are more people with this problem, so sorting it out would be a good thing Sky.

Fix it Sky- this is a joke.... this bug has been going on for so long now. What are we paying for?? Fix it!

I don't need to rehash what everyone else has said - I have same problem, it's crap 💩 and I'm sick of it, sitting here looking at a black screen again.

Mine is exactly the same. I am sick to death of having  to reboot time and time again. Very poor with no reaction from Sky regarding this issue.

I posted here a few items ago. I've now noticed that the problem doesn't seem to occur as much as previously. I've tried leaping into iPlayer pressing any button other than the select button when the information panel is being displayed, and it doesn't go into iPlayer. I've come out of iPlayer the 'wrong' way and it doesn't require a reset of the box to watch TV again. Tempting fate and touching wood, but maybe it's fixed?

I assume someone from Sky does read these forums (fora?) and it's possible an update has been made, but if so, it would have been nice to have been told about it on here.

I can't replicate the problems I was previously having. Someone else try and see how you get on?

Me too, the hard reset most times I surf to bbc 1 and it auto enters the iplayer, absolute mad that they havnt fixed it yet.
