Sky Q box connects to internet via inactive router
The main router in my house is goes offline on occasions so I temporarily switch on a mobile hub which the Q box recognises. When the main router is online again I switch the mobile hub off (it has a low data allowance) but the Q box settings show that it's still connected to the internet via the mobile hub. Not a problem but wondered why.

Hi @Humfuzz
If you are looking at SSID shown in the Q box settings this is often an historical connection and can take quite a while to update. Talking maybe even weeks.

Re: Sky Q box connects to internet via inactive router
Thanks @oldfella Would you believe it! I lost my reply because my router dropped out just before I hit reply (it's raining!). What I said was that I won't bother to change the setting in future - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
