Generally you don't need to return cables, but you do need to return power supply bricks, The orginal SkyQ stuff came with a standard mains cable, which you could return, later devices came with a separate wall plug power supplies.
The original HDMI cables supplied with your Sky Q had purple ends. I doubt they would be expecting those back.
