You're entitled to your opinion and you've already stated you cancelled last year. Others will strongly disagree with your view so perhaps let them decide for themselves.

Re: Sky Q awful to use
Two years ago we tried Q and switched back to hd+ after a couple of days because the UI was so awful.
We just made the switch to q again and after six weeks I still want to hurl the q box out of the window. [removed]
No reminders, no ability to start a recording at a time of your choice, recording doesn't always work.
I don't want to talk to a piece of plastic to find a programme. HD+ was intuitive, q is anything but.
I trying to find a valid reason for them to let me pair my card back to my hd box......

That won't happen. Sky no longer allow new Sky+ / Sky+HD subscriptions.

Two years without Sky Q and I don't regret it in the slightest. Have saved a fortune 😁

Re: Sky Q awful to use
I've been on chat for quite a while tonight with a support agent. They tried, I tried.
Used the installer menu but yes, the card paired to the box easily enough, I could watch every channel on my subscription on the HD box and record but what I could NOT do, was use on demand. Nothing from the sky channels but I could download BBC. Go figure that. I could also set a recording to start and it did start.
So, you can pair but not use on demand.
The agent suggested a couple of times that I'd contact a satelitte installer as they would be able to help but he did not say exactly how.

Presumably because accessing on-demand content from the BBC doesn't require any form of subscription verification.

Re: Sky Q awful to use
@treewitchI never post on the sky Q forums because I dont like Q and dont want anything to do with it lol but your post caught my eye may I ask why on earth did you try sky Q again was it hoping it had got better? also finding it interesting that you can pair up your viewing card to a sky+HD box and it works for channels and recording
= Sky+ SD boxes x4 (pace bskyb 3100) ===
