No, they're not. All Q boxes are loaned for the duration of the subscription and must be returned if you cancel.

Appalling by comparison to Sky +. Once my contract is up, I will most likely cancel. Overpriced and overrated.

What surprises me is numerous posters appear to assume that because Q is new to them, it must be a new platform...
