Sky Q & Sky+HD multiroom
Hello
I want to find out if Sky Q and Sky+ HD be in the same multi room dish?
Or will I have to have 2 dishes?

Re: Sky Q & Sky+HD multiroom
You can't mix and match Sky+HD and Sky Q, you can't have them at the same time.
If you wanted to use your Sky+HD box as a free to air receiver with no recording capabilities or premium channels, you can ask the engineer to fit a hybrid LNB (electronic part of the disk) which will allow Sky Q to work with the Wideband ports on the LNB and Sky+HD to work on Legacy ports on the LNB.
So to answer the question, yes, in theory you can use Sky+HD and Sky Q on the same dish, BUT only Sky Q can be used for the subscription channels unless you paired the card back to the old HD box. On a side note, you only get 1 card with Sky Q that goes into the main box, the mini boxes then connect to the Main Q box. Where as Sky+HD multiroom had seperate cards and seperate feeds from the dish.

Re: Sky Q & Sky+HD multiroom
hi @Yellownan
In addition to what @ThePope27 mentions regarding Hybrid LNBs you need to be aware that SKY are getting more & more relectant to fit Hybrid LNBs and generally will only do so where there is an existing Freesat Box or TV in use & not an existing SKY HD box to be used as a Freesat receiver - although you might land lucky in negotiatons.
You may wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Re: Sky Q & Sky+HD multiroom
Completly agree they don't like to fit them anymore,
Suppose he could buy an el028 (2x4) or an el030 (2x2) from eBay and ask the engineer to fit it.
