Same here I'm in Glasgow and have virgin broadband but it's not connecting to my sky Q box it says connected to router but no internet connection everything else in the house is working phones PlayStations Xbox all working fine with internet

Settings > Status > Network Connection > Network Setup > Advanced Settings > IP Settings > Set Manually > change DNS Server 1.1.1.1 > Confirm

What does this do ?
the lack of connection for me seems to be entirely that password disappears
- doesn't need a router reset / switch off or anything
just connect with password sorts it
But it's annoying

I am having exactly the same problem as Euan55. I have Virgin Media broadband which is working perfectly well for everything else apart from SkyQ box. The box previously had no internet issues but suddenly dropped the internet connection (wired). Tried setting up a Wi-Fi connection but this doesn't work either. What is going on here? Is Sky working on a fix?

I also have this issue now - began at something on the 4/9/23 and continued all evening. There's no issue with any other devices, only Sky Q

Mine is now working. I haven't needed to change any settings.

Same people with our skyQ and mini saying there is no internet when there is nothing wrong. Every other device is working as normal.

From 5/9/23 my skyQ box refuses to connect to my virgin media router. Says the internet is down ect . There is no fault with virgin media as all my other devices are working..
sky Q and the mini box have been working with the router for over 2 years . I'm at a loss . Can't figure out what's wrong.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSomeone on that other thread claimed rhat changing their DNS to 1.1.1.1 fixed it which would suggest a problem with Virgin's DNS server when looking up sky services. Maybe it's happened again. Worth a try.

My boxes won't connect to my internet, they are connected to my broadband router but the network connection has a cross. Very frustrating trying to get support the live assistant does not help you and just takes you round in circles...my broadband works fine I work from home most days and the connection is fine. Seems both my sky q box and mini box are blocked or something.
