Hi,
Question on behalf of my parents and their new Sky Q setup (I'm on Stream with inclusive Netflix).
My parents have just moved from Sky+HD to Sky Q and my mother, wanting to watch the later seasons of The Crown, thought that Netflix was included in their package. I think (based on what she's said) that she on 'not the top TV tier' basic TV package that they are on Sky Signature and not Ultimate, so no inclusive Netflix.
I've suggested that they could pay for Netflix via their Sky bill. No, they won't have it (they already pay handsomely for Sky Sports and a landline calls package).
I'm /thinking therefore of getting them a Netflix gift card from the supermarket, setting them up a Netflix account with it and then logging on to Netflix on their Sky Q box using that account. Not having ever used Q before (we're on Glass, puck & Stream ourselves), I've got a few questions - apologies in advance for general Q/Netflix ignoranc
Appreciate any help, clarification or tips 😀

- Can I set up a Netflix account using a gift card as payment and log into the Netflix app on their Q box with it? or does Netflix on Q mandate Sky's own integrated billing? Yes you can - you don't have to pay Sky.
- Assuming point 1 is good, can I use the £4.99 with ads tier with Sky Q, or is the minimum supported tier the £10.99 standard or above? AIUI any tier will work. (Others may confirm)
- if I set up Netflix on the main Q box, can it be accessed & viewed on the Q mini box they have in their bedroom? They have multi room already as part of their package. Yes you can - subject to any concurrency limit on the NetFlix level. (The Sky multiroom sub has no connection with NetFlix)

@PandJ2020 Appreciate your quick response. Supermarket Netflix voucher bought, account set up, parent's Sky Q Netflix app signed into and mother absolutely delighted to have access to the later seasons of The Crown 👍
