Sky Q Minibox overheating and cuts out

The minibox works for a while then cuts out and serms very hot. If we let it cool down it will work again.

Does it have sufficient airflow?

 

Otherwise, it may be faulty and you'll need to call Sky for a (free) replacement.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Thanks, I can just about leave my hand in it.

 

Ive been in touch with Sky and trying some workarounds before getting the engineer out.

yes it has a good airflow thanks
