Sky Q Mini in summer house

Hi guys,

So I've tried to get Sky Q Mini working in the the summer house without much joy. The set up us, sky Internet, cat 6 ethernet cable plugged into router in house which goes directly into summer house and plugged into a booster which gives full WiFi inside summer house. When I connect the Sky Q Mini to the network, it connects, the TV guide etc comes up with the channel playing In the corner, as soon as I select a channel to go full screen, it comes up with a connection fault and loses signal. Any ideas what the issue might be? Also if I was to plug another ethernet cable into the WiFi booster, then direct into Q Mini, would this work? Many thanks in advance ☺️

Hi @Steve19801

I suspect it's a 3rd Party WiFi booster you are using and not a Sky Q WiFi booster .

Best thing to do is to try the Ethernet directly into the mini.

If you also want to use any other devices then get a simple unmanaged Ethernet switch.
