Sky Q Mini disconnects from internet when open laptop or phone

I have a Sky Q mini box in an upstairs bedroom, every time I open my laptop or bring it back from standby, the Sky Q mini disconnects from the internet. and I have to go to Settings, Status, and reset Network Connection (shows as x).  I'm assuming my laptop (does it with phone too) is reconnecting itself to the internet and this seems to take it away from the mini.  I have a Sky broadband router, and another mini in the kitchen which does not do this.  I have tried swapping the boxes, but the same thing happens in the bedroom.  The distance between the router and the bedroom is about the same distance as the router and the kitchen.  I have rebooted and disconnected everything many times but still happens.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Hi @Helen+Surridge  your mini boxes connect to your main SKYQ box via their own wifi mesh, your mini box furthest away from the main SKYQ box may have a weak connection through walls floor etc, and may need a SKYQ wifi booster situated between the main box and the mini, the wifi boosters are free from SKY and usually need an engineer visit to install.
