Hi all,
During set up of my Sky Q Mini box, I connected to the Sky broadband modem via WPS, in hindsight I think the main Sky Q box is closer and has a less obstructed signal path.
Just wondering if it matters which it connects to as if I understand correctly it is a mesh system?
I'm trying to improve the signal quality of the mini box as I've had some instances of pixelation etc., during viewing. So would it be better to connect directly to the main Q box via WPS?
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks.

@Foxhole if its working then it will be fine as you say its a mesh system so technically it really shouldn't matter as all the boxes and router should connect to each other

Thanks for the reply @Laing1.
Do Sky do a signal booster or something for the Q system to increase / bridge the connected device range? If so, are they easy enough to add to the mesh system? I assume it would be integrated by the WPS button again?
Thanks

@Foxhole yes Sky do have Q boosters that will join the mesh and extend it, They connect as you expect by WPS you do need to contact Sky if you need one

Brilliant, thanks again @Laing1.
Do you know what the cost of the booster is by any chance?
Thanks
@Foxhole Sky normally supply them free of charge but can send out an engineer to ascertain if one is needed
