Sky Q Mini Drops out on live tv but ok with recoded programmes

I have Sky Q and Sky Broadband with a couple of Sky mini boxes.  The issue I have is that when watching live tv on the Sky Q mini, the picture stalls and the sound drops out.  It only happens on live tv programmes, recorded programmes on the Sky Q box play fine on the Sky mini boxes.

I have reconnected wifi and connection to Sky Q box.  Updated the Sky Q box and Sky mini with latest software but problem persists.

It tends to be worse during the evening for some reason!

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this please?  The Sky q mini boxes are unwatchable when this happens.

I have also been having a similar issue.  Pic and sound would stop and it would be as if there was an issue with the wifi connection between the boxes, but yet it works fine on recorded content.  I got a new Q box and same thing, not as bad but issue is still there

Sounds famiar!  Did you have any support from Sky to investigate?

I personally didnt no as im quite capable of doing the basics.  The basics are done and the issue is not my set up/equipment.  Perosanlly i think the way Sky Q boxes work is the issue

suspect less than ideal wifi. Why it would affect live and not recordings is obviously strange but perhaps they are treated differently across the Q network.

I don't think it may be a wifi issue.  The mini box is next to the router and above in the room directly above the Sky Q box.

I'm wondering if it may be a bandwidth issue with my sky broadband?  Does live tv on Sky Q take any broadcast data via broadband?

I dont think its a wifi issue for me personally, as had same on SKy broadband and same on a different ISP.  Also had the issue via wifi and power adapters

Turning everything off and switching it back on 1 at a rime in order seems to have worked.
