everyone appears to have problems with Sky Sports F1.

I don't either. I watched the race this morning with no AV Sync problems. I am using a Cheap HDMI 2.0 Switch with my Homatics Box R 4K and SKY Q going into the HDMI Switch. I have a 0.5m HDMI2.1 cable going from the switch to my SKY Q box , Certified genuine2 meter  HDMI 2.1 cable going to my Lytmi HDMI Sync Box and the HDMI2.0 cable that came with my Lytmi kit going into my tv. I used HDMI ARC from my TV to my SONY STR DN-1020 with no AV Sync issues. My TV is an LG 50UQ70006

I agree. The Quali and Race were spot on this week, but usually they have lip-sync issues unless they've tightened it up with the UHD channel being permanent.

As I mentioned in my post, Formula 2 and replays are usually spot on. Which means it's a programming problem, not a hardware problem. My Sony TV is connected to my receiver through an eARC connection.

eARC doesn't allow you to adjust any sync options, the two talk to each other and sort it out automatically and because of this, everything is spot on from Sky Q, Apple TV, Xbox, except for Sky Sports F1. But this week, it seemed fine when broadcasting the F1.

Its different on my TV. I have eARC enabled and I can adjust the AV sync but I have it to passthrough. During the F1 race I didn't have any lip sync issues either. It was spot on

Re: Sky Q Lip Sync Issues - Sonos Beam/Philips TV

I have exactly the same problem.

I have a Philips TV, and a Majority Dolby Atmos soundbar, when I turn the TV on and watch Sky Q I have to go into the TV settings and reset the

Digital out format to Multichannel bypass and Digital out delay to bypass to sort out the lip sync on sky Q.

I have to do this daily, which is very tedious, but it does sort out the lip sync problems when the soundbar is set to arc.

When it's set to optical, the problem doesn't exist, but the sound isn't quite as good as arc.

Re: Sky Q Lip Sync Issues - Sonos Beam/Philips TV

I've raised this with Philips/TPVision support back in July '23.  Still waiting to find out if they are going to fix it as it definitely appears to be a firmware issue.

Re: Sky Q Lip Sync Issues - Sonos Beam/Philips TV

I previously reported that I raised this with Philips/TPVison.

they are now telling me it's a hard limitation (which I have told them I don't believe is the case).

this is after a recent firmware made this problem worse - the bypass setting had to be reset after any change in audio format when watching sky Q.  I wouldn't take any further firmware updates from them from now on.
