Sky Q HDMI connection dropping with LG OLED TV

I found this on you tube how to assign an hdmi channel on start up. 

One press on remote for TV and one press to turn on sky box. Solved the problem. Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem since new on my 55 c2 lg model and my lg model id oled55c224la

web os 8.3.0-29 (number1-namers)

software version 13.30.85

I had exactly the same issue with sky q box and new lg tv. Had new board installed on tv new sky q box and hdmi cable fitted still problems . The issue was resolved when sky installed a version one box, apparently this has a different chip set and now everything works as it should.
