Sky Q Box - Replacement cancelled by cancelling engineers appointment 14 Aug 2024

Sky Q Box (possible hard disk failure) has not been working (recording scheduled programmes since 5 Jun 2024). Three long technician calls later (plenty of Sky Q Box reboots later), pairing of remote and reset of hard drive (now box has stopped booting completely). Apparently audit engineer visit (14 Aug 2024 - date was never agreed nor accepted by me) being cancelled also cancelled Sky Q box replacement order (that never appeared in my mesagges). Call this morning I will get box tomorrow (Sunday 23 Jun 2024) now I check my messages on my sky and Sky Q box has status "in progress" and "expected Monday 24 Jun 2024". 20 years with sky (VIP member) that counts for nothing. Sky managers - look this complaint up please unique reference number. I cannot add the reference number becuase it appears too many times.

In case you aren’t aware this is a customer to customer forum and you’re not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here. No Sky staff will look into this on the forum. Your length of Sky tenure and/or VIP status has no relevance here. Nearly all Sky customers are a VIP customer to some degree. 

It's worth adding that if the replacement Sky Q box is via a doorstep box swap make sure the faulty one is disconnected and ready for the courier to put it in the box they bring the replacement in. Also remember to remove the viewing card from the faulty box before it disappears in the van.

@SKY1992bf I know just wanted to post here and get some idea how often this is happening across the UK. Trying to highlight shocking customer service in handling service delivery issues, saying problems are fixed when they are not,  verbally saying things that do not happen and have not been done (which we cannot see in the "background").

I want to know my bill so I could pay my bill and I want to speak someone so I could start my tv service again
