If it was that simple everyone would have done it and it would have worked lol 😂

Have had the pixelation issues on Netflix and additional green screen on Apple TV for last 3 months with the usual response from Sky, stating that they know about the issues and are working to resolve them.
We have SkyQ, Sky Broadband and Netflix through Sky, plus Sky Mini boxes but these do not have the Pixelation issue.
I contacted Sky customer service again last week and, after being transferred to the technical team, was advised that these issues were caused due to having an older SkyQ box, from 2017, which would require replacement in order to resolve the Pixelation and green screen problem.
New SkyQ box (2TB) was received 2 days later and, after installing it, all the pixealtion issues have now been resolved.

The issue everyone is having different feedback from staff and those boxes that have been changed - for some people it's helped and for others not. So back to square one. It's ridiculous- no one knows what's going on.

@PhilAn Double check your software version it would software version 230 for the first three letters.
Where as the new software is 270 and this is the version everyone is having issues with as the pixelating issue started after the last software update.
I got the same new box as yours and my software version is the 230 (old software) and haven't had a issue for close to three weeks. But if the box does a auto update to the new software we will be back in the same boat.

thanks
so a v2 box I think. External power supply? And does NOT have the latest software which was a minor rev to Q.270.000.10

That's correct. A v2 box with external power supply. I upgraded about 5 weeks ago from v1 to v2 and have not seen a single pixel out of place on any app (Disney, Netflix, Apple, Prime or Discovery) - and I have used them all.
For reference for everyone (copied from a previous post) :
Hardware Number starting...
32B0 (internal power supply) (v1)
32B1 (external power supply) (v2)
32B2 (internal power supply) (v3)
You want to be on 32B1 to "solve" the pixelation issue. I've mentioned before, I am yet to hear of anyone on 32B1 that is suffering from pixelation or green screen. If you don't want to take that drastic action, then watch through your native apps on your TV, favoured stick etc. Both are workarounds, Sky need to fix the software issue that is causing it for the boxes with internal power supplies.

@type-r I have the V3 Internal power supply
Hardware 32B206
Software 230.000.14.00L
it's been close to 3wks for me now and not a single issue with pixelating apps.
My only worry is if the box auto updates to the new software then I think I'll be in the same position again.

@Mattym63 you may not as @Chodley is running a V3 box on the latest software and has previously said that apart from once they have not had the app pixallation

Someone with a v2 said they got issues after a while, iirc
software updated maybe.

To claim this you need to provide specific info on who and what hardware version, not iirc!

Yeah they were replying to their own post about Stream. This has always been how you turn a TV on & off with a Q remote too so I have no idea what that little diversion was about.
