Sky Premiere changing advertised films during weekday afternoons.
Came in to watch the 3 new releases advertised on the Sky Planner Guide Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, Code 3 and It Feeds But what is now on instead Finding You (2021), Fireheart (2022) and 10 Lives (2024) instead along with the likes of Arthur's Whisky (2023) and The Colour Room (2021).
What the hell is going on!

Re: Sky Premiere changing advertised films during weekday afternoons.
My tv guide is the same, 4/5 channels just have completely different films on them? I've restarted my box about 5 times thinking it was that but nothing has fixed it!

Re: Sky Premiere changing advertised films during weekday afternoons.
There was a problem with PIN protection yesterday meaning 12/15/18 rated movies had to be dropped during the day. Even though that problem has apparantly been fixed they have again pulled the PIN protected films before 9pm.

yep, so teh problem to me says it has NOT been fixed, since its not just sky cinema channels but all channels askign for your pin code. This is day #2 of this.... hopefully there will be NO day #3 since i will not be able to stay awake till 3am to watch stuff taht may or may not start between the 9pm-3am timeframe.
oh and incidentally old films on the premier/premium channel that boasts a new film every night... oh wait that vanished during covid, a new film or 2 every week if your lucky, not films that are several yrs old. It feeds managed to watch a part of it, code 3 dont know about and bridget i am not interested in at all.

By how much would you like our Cinema subscriptions to increase so that Sky can outbid their numerous online competitors for rights? Realistically there's just less content around for more buyers, particularly as studios increasingly have their own streaming services which get exclusive initial access: the historical Sky business model is looking problematic when global services just have bigger acquisition budgets.

And since Covid times anyone who feels Cinema is no longer value for money will have had discounts expire a couple of times therefore providing the opportunity to cancel that add-on.
