Have a mini box which fails every day to connect to the main Q box. Have to reset it at least half a dozen times, following instructions on screen, switching it off at wall and the only one that seems to work is switching the main Q box off at the wall along with WiFi and resetting everything. Do these mini boxes get a shelf life, this one is a couple of years old?

@AAABBB no shelf life as you say I have had my mini boxesw for almost 7 years and they are both still working perfectly

Started yesterday. Prior to that everything worked fine. Turned on tv in another room and turned on sky mini box. Exactly as I always do but it stuck on Connecting to your Sky Q box. Unplugged and the plugged in again. No difference. Pressed Reset o n mini box. No difference. Eventually phoned Sky and strangely while we were chatting it suddenly connected itself.
Today I am having the exact same issue..
I note some people say go to settings but as it will not connect to the Sky Q box I can't do that. When I do it from the main box all shows as perfect.
Any suggestions??

Hi @Raygd Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot, then do the same with the Mini box?
