Sky Max and Sky Q issues
Having upgraded from Superfast to Max hub I have encountered lots of problems most of which have been solved by engineer visits but not all. I have gone from having Sky Q in lounge plus mini box in bedroom, with a router and one booster to now having: Sky Q main box, mini box. Hub, 3 pods plus a booster in the loft which apparently links the Q boxes.
i still end up having to restart the mini box every now and then which is annoying.
i also find that if I move from one room to another that my IPad tells me I have no network connection which again is frustrating, I never had this issue before I had Sky Max and all these pods.
is anyone else experiencing such problems .

Re: Sky Max and Sky Q issues
Which router do you have? And which type of booster exactly?

Re: Sky Max and Sky Q issues
Now you have the Max hub, you have basically lost the mesh.
The new hub is treated like a 3rd party hub now and isn't part of the Q mesh.
The pods are there to boost your wifi and the booster in your loft is basically acting as a bridge between the main box and mini.
The reason you need the pods now is because the Q equipment now no longer acts as wif hotspots.
Obviously I don't know the layout of your house but if you only have the main Q and one mini in the bedroom, the booster in the loft sounds like it could be in the wrong place.
If it was me, I would move the booster to somewhere roughly half way between the Q and mini, then turn off 2.4ghz on the mini.
To do that, go to home and highlight settings.
press 001 select
go to network and turn 2.4ghz off.
Save settings then once saved reboot the box by unplugging and plugging back in.

Re: Sky Max and Sky Q issues
As long as rhat's a Q Booster
if it's a normal Sky booster it won't act like a bridge between the two afaik
