Sky Cinema gone, asking me to upgrade

Hi

 

I signed up to sky cinema for a year on 25th October, found out yesterday the channels are gone and is asking me to upgrade. Found lots of threads of this in the forums but no solution.

 

Done a software reset 

 

Also Plugged the sky Q box out for 30 secs and in again

 

No joy

 

Please advise

@Cian85 have you checked on the my sky app or your Q box that Sky cinema is still showing as part of your subscription 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Yes, it says its still active along with paramount +

@Cian85 2 things to try if you hanen't already 

 

first

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

 

second

 

You could try refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet

 

failing that you would have to contact sky

Contacted sky and the problem still persists. I dont think the lady on the phone really understood what I was talking about. Can this be sorted by a Sky tech here?

@Cian85 afraid we are customers like yourself, this is a customer to customer forum where customers help each other. Afraid you will need to persevere with contacting Sky
