I have sky signature pack and can watch sky Atlantic live. When I try to watch something in the past that is on sky Atlantic (Lockerbie) I am unable to download anything. I click to download in SD and I am being asked to upgrade my subscription. I have sky signature pack on my bill.
i have recently had a new sky q box which I have reconnected the mini box too.

The default download setting is HD so try changing the format to download in SD
you can change the default to SD by Pressing Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, then 'On Demand default download format', and choose SD.
You need to do this on the main box

Yes I have done this - changed it to SD and still says I don't have the subscription

Same here. I watched the first episode of Lockerbie on Atlantic HD but to watch any further episodes it wants me to upgrade to UHD! Why? My mum had UHD on her Sky box and we couldn't notice any difference between that and the normal HD. Is this just Sky trying to get even more money out of it's customers for content that used to be avilable on HD?

No. It is available in HD

Thanks. I'll have to give Sky a call tomorrow as only episode one, which I've watched, is showing as HD but all the other episodes are UHD and it's trying to get me to upgrade to UHD to watch them.

When you choose the programme, it's one of the buttons you can scroll through.
You can set the default too as above.
