Sky App telling me there is a problem with Q

When I check the sky app to see whether there is an issue with WiFi or broadband. It's telling me that sky q has a problem. It highlights one of our 4 mini boxes. I have checked the serial numbers on the back and one is different from box to app. I called sky they sent an engineer out who advised that everything looks fine and it's an issue with the app. Then I'm to check again after he reset the whole system but give it time. Problem still exists..... any ideas? Thanks 🤩

It may also be worth adding that everything is working ok at present tv wise but if there is an issue with speed etc it's only telling me that there is a problem with that minibox alone. It also mentions last December as the date it was last checked.

What do you mean "if there is an issue with speed etc"?

 

Is there an issue or not? Or are you saying there is an intermittent problem? If so, what is it?

Intermittent speed issues However if I go to the app to run a test it points to the sky q mini box - the one that the serial number doesn't match the hardware.

Speed for general internet access? How is that manifesting itself?

 

suspect the mini is an innocent party in all of this.

Sometime the channels freeze and my boy complains about freezing on his x box. Not all of the time but the app still points to this unknown mini box it's v weird.

Which channels freeze? Is this streaming / on a mini?

 

The Q system does tend to flood networks every so often which might explain the xbox. Can you use ethernet on that?
