Shuttering on Netflix makes it impossible to watch

When I watch the apps on SkyQ I get this constant blacking out, which is making it difficult if not impossible to watch. I think they call it shuttering, I've looked in the settings and that didn't work.  The screen is so dark, movies and shows aren't worth watching.  Is there anything I can do?
