Sharing a Youtube/Netflix link to a SkyQ user.

Hello;  I have a question;

I have an old'ish mum;  occasionaly I will come accross a movie trailer on youtube, or netflix that I would like to share with her. So she can view it on her big screen with proper sound.  Is there any way to do this through sky?  Or do I have to text her the name of the program or film and have her search for it herself?

I want to make things as easy and streamlined as possible for her;  but I have been googling and I cant find anyway to do this.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

It is not possible to share between Sky Q devices.

Your  best bet is to share a YouTube shared link via email, text or messaging and when the link is launched in any YouTube client (app, browser etc) to use the Casting option, as described in the Sky Q youtube help article below, that will send it to a Sky Q box.
