Discussion topic: Settings say sky q mini box not connected to sky q box. Tried everything. What can i do?

Settings say sky q mini box not connected to sky q box. Tried everything. What can i do?
Watching tv and it went blank. Tried unplugging and plugging it in but nothing has happened. Someone suggested taking the sky card out, plugging and unplugging the sky box in, putting the card back in and unplugging it and plugging it back in. Before I did that I at least had tv in my bedroom but no I have nothing. On settings system info it says no card inserted and status says no connection to sky q box. I now have no tv at all. I'm desperate to get it going as I love alone and don't get out much as I'm a disabled. Nothing too technical because I may not understand.

Hi @Timrwaster Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with the Mini box?
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.
