Series link records late night repeats only

For the last few months, series link has had an annoying habit of finding the late night repeat of something and recording that instead. It doesn't matter how often you delete the series link and re-add it on the 7pm mainstream showing, SkyQ will series link the 2am repeat version instead. This of course means that most of our recordings are now shown in a half-size frame accompanied by the late night sign language person, which is very frustrating (no doubt a lifesaver for the hard of hearing - but we don't need!).

 

Can anyone help?

Hi @CB031 what is the name of the programme you are setting the series link for

And are you removing the series link on the repeated programme before you deleted it 

Deleted programmes are still available on your Sky Q box just in case you have deleted an episode accidentally then the episode can be undeleted

Hi @best+of+the+best , this happens on too many programmes to remember or mention, but I know this is definitely happening on the new series of Taskmaster - I noticed yesterday. Yes I am removing the link before re-adding.

You didn't have to… you just needed to reply to Sky at least once every 48 hours.

Fair comment @CB031 I rarely use Series Link as I prefer to manually record F1 weekends also I like the correct race title showing or the OCD starts kicking in 🤣

I’ve re-escalated your post to Sky and the Messaging Team may get in touch with you later.

Once that speech bubble appears you have 48 hours to click on it and join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky are not instant so you’ll need to regularly check the chat thread.
