Select channels not working after communal dish re-location
The communal dish at my apartment block was replaced a while back. The new one had to go in a different position as the original position was not accessible.
Since then it has been very sensitive to weather and some channels haven't been working properly since the dish was changed (either extreme picture breakup or no signal at all).
The channels not working include 112, 115, 506, 970.
It also includes some sports channels I pay for - 410, 412, 417, 419, 420 - so keen to get those working.
(I'm not sure if the specific channels are relevant or not).
It seems like a communal dish issue but is there anything can be done? I've done all the resets and that type of thing. Should i look at manual tuning?
If it needs an engineer is there any specific information I can pass on? Do Sky still have in-house engineers who specifically look after communal systems? My factoring company only uses a local aerial company. Should I insist they use a Sky engineer? The engineers always seem reluctant to go on the roof. Is there still an online portal for communal systems?
Thanks in advance.

hi @JamT
SKY do have specially trained enginners that support Communal systems (known as MDU trained engineers - Multiple Dwelling Unit) but unfortunately they only look after the SKY Boxes and any 'adapters' placed in the communal system to allow older systems to work with SKY Q.
The signal from the dish to the distribution system is, unfortunately, the responsibility of the 'Building Management' & whoever they employ to look after it and SKY will not access the dish - the best they will do is, possibly, provide you with a report giving details of signal strength of the transponders (or which ones pass/fail the minimums needed)

Re: Select channels not working after communal dish re-location
@JamT I suggest that you ask your factoring representative to employ a suitably qualified 'System Installer' who will be able to quickly test your existing communal Integrated Reception System installation, analyse what is causing your reception problems, and rectify the situation.
Suitable engineers can be found on this website, hosted by the Confederarion of Aerial Industries, which list Sky as one of their supporting associate companies.
Your factoring agent representative will just need to search for 'Approved System Installers' who cover your area.
